SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Part-time (Modern Dental Canada, Vancouver)

Modern Dental Canada, a leading worldwide dental healthcare organization specializing in best-in-class service and high-quality dental restorations. As we continue to grow and expand services in Canada, we are seeking part-time Outside Sales Representatives to join our team in the North Vancouver, Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Richmond, BC areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain and maintain strong understanding of dental laboratory products, digital dentistry workflows, scanning systems, implants, and prosthetic solutions

  • Use in person visits, presentations, demos, and follow-up to grow revenue and market share

  • Leverage selling skills, marketing campaigns, and technical insight to generate opportunities

  • Meet and exceed assigned revenue goals, activity metrics, and territory targets. Track sales activities, progress, and pipeline through CRM tools

  • Work as a liaison between dental practices and the laboratory, ensuring clear communication and seamless service

  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, and provide insights to leadership

  • Collaborate closely with internal lab team to support customer needs and resolve issues

  • All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience in business to business outside sales experience, preferably within the dental, medical device, or healthcare services field preferred

  • Proven history of achieving sales quotas and building a territory

  • Previous experience selling to dental offices, dental labs and medical professionals

  • Familiarity with digital workflows, intraoral scanners, implants, or cosmetic restorative dentistry

  • Strong budget development, oversight and sales management skills

  • Strong written/oral communication and a customer-first mindset

  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) preferred

  • Ability to travel and navigate the surrounding area of the assigned territory, accommodating overnight stays as needed

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a company MVR check

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Pay: CA$17.85 - CA$26.00 + uncapped commissions

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Lead, motivate, and support employees, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution, adhering to all company policies and procedures; track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed

  • Perform Customer Service Management; directly interacting with customers over the phone, in-person or by email to resolve issues as necessary

  • Monitor case progress and maintenance to ensure company and industry standards are met in customer retention efforts

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a dental laboratory/industry senior leadership role preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, Business, or equivalent work experience

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with training in conflict management and business negotiation processes

  • Excellent ability to communicate both written/oral -high competency in customer service and solution mindset

  • Strong budget development and oversight skills

  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Pay: CA$80,000.00 - CA$100,000.00 per year
