Modern Dental Group was founded in 1986 in Shenzhen, China, working closely with distribution centers in Asia, Europe, and Australia before eventually entering the U.S. market through a group of carefully selected and respected labs. With considerable global resources, these locally focused Modern Dental Centers have fostered trusting relationships with dental practices across North America, creating smiles and life-long impacts within their communities.

Our restorations are FDA-approved under all requirements of ISO 13485, the recognized world standard for quality management in medical device manufacturing. This provides clinicians with peace of mind regarding the safety of their patients and the quality and value of materials.

Modern Dental is the largest dental laboratory and houses the largest dental technology school in the world. With a capacity of 5,000 technicians, the campus features a seven-story state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with the latest CAD/CAM technology.

  • The knowledgeable and experienced staff at your local Modern Dental Center will work directly with you to develop a detailed treatment plan for your case. Our team of experts will continue to support you throughout the entire process to ensure that the final restoration exceeds your expectations.

  • We will provide you with boxes, shipping bags, mailing labels, and a starter kit if you are a new customer (Depending on your location, the starter shipping kit will be delivered to your office the next business day.)

    If the case is a traditional impression or model, simply call your local Modern Dental Center to schedule a pickup.If the case you are sending is a digital impression, please call your local center for initial setup instructions for uploading the case to us. Call us anytime for shipping supplies replenishment.

  • The standard turnaround time for digital restorations is 5-6 business days in the lab; the standard turnaround time for all other products is 10-12 business days in the lab.

    To assist you in managing shipping logistics and holiday schedules, we will provide you with the Modern Dental Return Date Calendar—an easy reference for establishing the return date based on when your case is received at your local Modern Dental Center.

  • Our local Modern Dental Centers are fully equipped to manage minor adjustments in-house. The turnaround time is 1-3 business days.
