SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Part-time (Modern Dental Canada, Vancouver)

As we continue to grow and expand services in Canada, we are seeking part-time Outside Sales Representatives to join our team in the North Vancouver, Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Richmond, BC areas.

Responsibilities:
Gain and maintain strong understanding of dental laboratory products, digital dentistry workflows, scanning systems, implants, and prosthetic solutions
Use in person visits, presentations, demos, and follow-up to grow revenue and market share
Leverage selling skills, marketing campaigns, and technical insight to generate opportunities
Meet and exceed assigned revenue goals, activity metrics, and territory targets. Track sales activities, progress, and pipeline through CRM tools
Work as a liaison between dental practices and the laboratory, ensuring clear communication and seamless service
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, and provide insights to leadership
Collaborate closely with internal lab team to support customer needs and resolve issues
All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required
Qualifications:
Previous work experience in business to business outside sales experience, preferably within the dental, medical device, or healthcare services field preferred
Proven history of achieving sales quotas and building a territory
Previous experience selling to dental offices, dental labs and medical professionals
Familiarity with digital workflows, intraoral scanners, implants, or cosmetic restorative dentistry
Strong budget development, oversight and sales management skills
Strong written/oral communication and a customer-first mindset
Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) preferred
Ability to travel and navigate the surrounding area of the assigned territory, accommodating overnight stays as needed
Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a company MVR check
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Pay: CA$17.85 - CA$26.00 + uncapped commissions

Responsibilities:
Provide clerical and administrative support to management
Answer phones and assist customers with any questions or concerns
Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, reports and other correspondence
Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
Become proficient in scheduling and billing of dental lab cases using the operating software Magic Touch
Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone and email exchange
Maintain lab inventory, prepare on-line requisitions for inventory re-stocking
Manage incoming and outgoing shipments; including timely delivery and pick up of goods to and from nearby customers and event locations
Support Marketing department event coordination efforts including duties such as setting up materials and presentations, receiving shipments of supplies and assisting in presentations

Qualifications:
Knowledge of dental lab products, materials, and techniques preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Self-motivated with strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:
Lead, motivate, and support employees, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution, adhering to all company policies and procedures; track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
Perform Customer Service Management; directly interacting with customers over the phone, in-person or by email to resolve issues as necessary
Monitor case progress and maintenance to ensure company and industry standards are met in customer retention efforts
Meet with prospective clients to develop new sales or grow existing clients for the company
Plan and execute ongoing productivity improvement strategy across the laboratory operations, leveraging internal and external best practices
Assist with a sales and marketing strategy that integrates with the corporate sales team to attain budgeted sales revenue goals. This may include special sales projects or activities as directed by senior management
Attend in-person trade shows, meetings, and other events as required
Collaborate and interact interdepartmentally in order to maintain alignment with the company’s operational priorities, strategies, and labor budget

Qualifications:
5+ years in a dental laboratory/industry senior leadership role preferred
Bachelor’s degree in management, Business, or equivalent work experience
Strong problem-solving abilities with training in conflict management and business negotiation processes
Excellent ability to communicate both written/oral -high competency in customer service and solution mindset
Strong budget development and oversight skills
Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a company MVR check
Pay: CA$80,000.00 - CA$100,000.00 per year
