BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Modern Dental USA, Chicago, IL)

Responsibilities:
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, product knowledge, competitive landscape and technical developments for business growth opportunities
Identify and develop a list of dentists in an assigned geographic territory as potential customers- utilizing selling skills, marketing materials and campaigns to generate new business and cultivate sales growth among new customers
Use in-person visits, presentations, and phone calls to acquire new and grow existing customer base, within an assigned budget to increase financial performance and revenue growth
Work as a liaison between dental office locations and the lab to present solutions to potential problems, and communicate features and benefits of our products in order to grow market share
Execute strategic and operational objectives, ensuring that defined sales goals and budgets are achieved
Evaluate and communicate with company management regarding market trends of our products in relation to customers’ needs
All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required
Qualifications:
Previous working experience in a Dental Support Organization (DSO), with strong dental sales knowledge preferred
Minimum three to five years of experience in the Dental Profession. Intraoral digital scanning, outside dental sales, or customer service are a plus.
Strong budget development, oversight and sales management skills
Excellent ability to communicate both written/oral -high competency in customer service and solution mindset
Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to travel and navigate the surrounding area of the assigned territory, accommodating overnight stays as needed
Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a company MVR check
High School Diploma or equivalent required

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Actively work to enhance the level of our customer’s satisfaction through the following regular responsibilities: Provide excellent communication and customer service (over phone, email and in person), answer customer’s questions fully as they arise through inbound/outbound calls in order to clearly present information relating to cases, order needs, technical support, our product offerings, quality concerns, and shipping/delivery (including tracking packages to ensure on-time delivery)
Unload, disinfect, sort, and prioritize incoming packages for case entry
Prepare material for shipping, weighing, packaging, stamping, and preparing necessary shipping forms such as invoices and shipping labels
Case data entry into our CPM software (Magic Touch laboratory software) and ability to become proficient with the software quickly
Assist with processing end of the month statements and mailings
Occasional driving responsibilities, including making deliveries to local offices

Qualifications:
Must have a working, practical knowledge in all product areas of the dental lab industry

A working, practical knowledge in all product areas of the dental lab industry--including dental implants.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a dental lab environment preferred
High level of attention to detail with exceptional quality standards
Strong communication skills to speak with and meet clients of the dental center and resolve customer service problems
Must be capable of professionally integrating within a small service-oriented business team
High school diploma or equivalent required
