Job Summary:

The Dental Laboratory Manager of MicroDental Lab will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the laboratory. Primary Responsibilities:

  • · Ensure laboratory maintains and manage relevant proficiency and quality control standards

Senior CAD/CAM Technician | Troy, MI

We operate in over 25 locations in North America as both MicroDental Laboratories and Modern Dental Laboratory USA. We are one of the largest dental lab groups in the world and a leading producer of dental prosthetics and restorations. We are seeking an experienced Senior CAD/CAM Technician to join our team in Troy, MI!

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Perform milling machine and other equipment preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Troubleshoot repairs with outsource via phone and email.
  • Coordinate the sending of any repairs offsite with the OEM or repair vendors.
  • Perform CAM for Full-Arch and other complex restoration millings.
  • Keep all milling machines milling until queues are empty.
  • Responsible for the timely loading and unloading of mills.
  • Responsible for understanding and monitoring the software of all milling machines.
  • Responsible for quality control of units milled.

Secondary or Backup Job Responsibilities:

  • Download and process Inter Oral Scans.
  • Accept IOS cases and create work orders.
  • Design digital models for 3D printing production.
  • Post-process and articulate printed models.
  • Assist surgical guide production with nesting, printing, post-processing using ultrasonic cleaning, and curing equipment, grinding, and polishing.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of in-lab training, knowledge in basic computer programs such as word, excel, photoshop, and/or audio applications.
  • Dental knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must.
  • Milling center environment, computer-based workstation. Benchwork with highspeed and low-speed handpieces

Staff Accountant | Troy, MI

We are one of the largest dental lab groups in the world and a leading producer of dental prosthetics and restorations. We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Troy, MI!

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements for assigned multiple locations.
  • Create journal entries.
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Advise location management on financial results.
  • Monitor and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Prepare sales property taxes and miscellaneous tax returns.
  • Prepare management reports and respond to requests for information.
  • Report to Accounting Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should possess a B.S. or B.A. with a concentration in accounting preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience required.
  • Familiarity with enterprise class accounting systems preferred Sage Intacct Accounting.
  • Ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Entry level candidates will also be considered based on academic achievement.
  • Experience in multi-location environments desirable.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills, familiarity with intermediate functions of Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Discretion when dealing with sensitive or private information such as payroll, medical, human resources, and financial records.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service.

Stain and Glaze Technician
We operate in over 25 locations in North America as both MicroDental Laboratories and Modern Dental Laboratory USA. We are one of the largest dental lab groups in the world and a leading producer of dental prosthetics and restorations. We are seeking an experienced Stain and Glaze Tech to join our Westbrook Dental Lab in Richardson, TX!

Responsibilities:
• Stain and glaze dental restorations
• Add on margins and contacts on Zirconia, Emax, and PFM crowns
• Match and create custom shades for each dental case
• Maintain high attention to detail
• Operate a variety of dental laboratory tools and equipment
• Maintain clean equipment and work area

Qualifications:
• Knowledge of dental lab products, materials, terminology, and techniques preferred
• Previous experience in relevant field with a good productive mindset and skill set
• High level of attention to detail with exceptional quality standards
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent hand/eye coordination
